Hi, I’m Cole!

I am a lighting designer and percussionist based out of Chicago, IL and Nashville, TN.

At last, Cole Counihan made his long awaited return to Nashville’s Belmont University after spending his summer with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps. Known as a versatile performer, fluent in both classical percussion and lighting design, Counihan has worked with notable groups such as Third Coast Percussion, Springbrook Community Church, the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra, and the Nashville Repertory Theatre. Currently, Counihan is completing his degree at Belmont University while also serving as a professional percussionist and lighting designer in Nashville.  Cole can be contacted or booked via his website; www.ColeDrums.com.

As a long time performer in the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra, when John Apple offered me the opportunity to oversee the lighting and video for the 2024 Christmas concert, I was ecstatic.
