Hi, I’m Cole!
I am a percussionist and lighting designer based out of Chicago, IL and Nashville, TN.
Cole Counihan is a percussionist, lighting designer, and event management specialist based out of Chicago, IL. In May of 2026, Counihan received his Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Classical Percussion Performance under Dr. Chris Norton and Christine Comer at Belmont University. Counihan has worked with notable names both on-stage and backstage, including Andrea Bocelli, Third Coast Percussion, the Nashville Repertory Theatre, Cody Fry, Trisha Yearwood and CeCe Winans. In addition to performance groups at Belmont University, Counihan also has performed with the Music City Brass Ensemble, Fox Valley Orchestra, Naperville Winds, Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Chicagoland Pops Orchestra.
